With the Femtosecond technology, water bubbles of about 1-3 microns are created on the cornea in accordance with the requested micron precision of the laser beam (15.000 dots per second) and these bubbles seperate the tissue layer. Thus, Presbiopia treatment is realized without the cut of the outter plates of the eye and without thinning the cornea tissue.
Differently than the Lasik method, with Intra Cor no cut is made in the cornea. Due to that the front surface stays untouched, the treatment can be completed in a very short period like 20 seconds without any pain and risk for infection. This treatment can also be applied on people who have a thin cornea and dry eyes.
Directly after the treatment, the patient can return to his/her normal life. The advantage of this method is that it can be applied on both eyes. A part from nowadays techniques, without corrupting farvision it can correct nearvision.
Advantages:
The treatment called Intra cor is a method which can be applied on one eye first and after 3-6 months the other eye can be treated. Unlike the other techniques it does not effect farvision.
There is no problem applying this technique on eyes wich already have been treated for cataract or laser.
The treatment is realised after the eyes get numb and will take about 15-20 seconds. There is no need for a total narcosis.
After the treatment 1-2 hours stinging and watery eyes can be experienced.
After the treatent there will be usage of drops for 1-2 weeks. The next day the patient can go back to normal life.
Is it possible to get 100% positive result?
The most important feature is without causing and damage to farvision being able to correct nearvision.
Risks like forexample getting blind is impossible.
90 people out of the 100 who have been treated are able to read the newspaper without glasses and their old complaints have not returned.

Can this treatment be applicable for everyone?
This mehod is only not applicable for people who have a very thin cornea and who have cataract in the beginning fase.
A part of this, people who already had a laser treatment and patients older than 45 years and who have reading problems can be treated with this technique.

The treatment period is very short (20 seconds) and there are no risks like pain or infections. Due to that only the inner layer of the cornea is treated whitout touching the outter part the healing period is only about 1-2 hours. In the fist 3 months after the treatment the farsight may reduce. After a short period the farsight will recover.
The Intra cor method is FDA approved and is already been applied in the States and in different European countries.
Intra Cor is not a permanent treatment. It has to be repeated every 1-3 years. The first 1-3 months patients suffer from an artificial farsight weakness, this will dissappear spontaneously.
NEARSIGHT TREATMENT WITH LCK METHOD
LCK operates with radio waves. It uses a system producing 350 kH radio waves.
A new form with 8 to 16 spots placed on surface of the cornea corrects deteriorated nearsighted vision in 2 to 3 minutes.
The spots are placed in a specific order and principle. The depth, angle, and location of the spots are more important.
Radio-wave energy coming out of each spot provides the new form by shrinking collagen fibers in corneal tissue.
The cornea with the new form, compressed mildly on the periphery, gains the ability to focus near and far as it does with glasses.
It is a not a permanent treatment. It should be renewed in 1 to 3 years. In first three months, patients experience an artificial, temporal farsighted vision weakness and in time it corrects itself .
Artificial astigmatism, which may occur, can be corrected with a very simple technique at the end of the third month if required.
Treatment is completed in 1 to 2 minutes using only drops. A preventive drop treatment continues for 4 to 5 days after the operation.
This system is used in U.S., Europe, and in other developed countries. It has FDA approval.
Application History of the LCK Method in the World
CK method clinical studies for hyperopia treatment, started by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in November 1999, attained approval in 2001.
At the Ophthalmologists Congress (American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS)), held in America in April 2000, FDA studies were at least as good as those of the LASIK method.
In May 2001, the FDA started to work on the results of presbyopia (deterioration of nearsighted vision) treatment using the CK method.
On 16 April 2002, the FDA completed these studies and gave approval for hyperopia treatment after age 40.
On 25 August 2003, the FDA gave the first approval for usage of the CK method in presbyopia treatment in the U.S.
By 31 December 2003, 22,491 patients had been treated with the CK method in the U.S.
On 9 February 2004, specialized doctors in an FDA open session declared that the CK method could be the first choice of treatment for presbyopia.
By 31 December 2004, more than 75,000 patients had been treated with the CK method.
On 18 February 2005, the FDA also approved CK operations for patients who had previously had LASIK surgery.
On 4 October 2005, the FDA approved Light Touch CK (LCK), the developed version of the CK method, improving efficiency of this new technique.
By 31 December 2005, more than 150,000 patients had been treated using the LCK method.
All over the world, the method is confidently applied by more than 800 doctors for treatment of hyperopia and nearsighted vision glasses.
